IDM THEFT ABLE
cl amo/ang or/er us/e et c (Humbug; Norway) CDR $8

Humbug catalog: "A perpetual boiling, seething stew. For the duration of the 50+ min title-track Id M Theft Able's kettle is never actually emptied and cleaned out, new ingredients are simply added to the muck! And what a mighty great lump of effervescent aural muck this is, just sublime! Have yr fill...a proper binge is in order! Seriously, this is some of the quaint-est, whackiest, most dense & dynamic punk-clatter noise-shit you'll ever hear, and it blissfully goes on & on, ad nauseam. So, another bloated master-piece it is, from the genius Skot Spear (& the man is not just any home-taper slouch, check out www.kraag.org for more evidence, go there now!), and it's a great counterpart to the equally confounding/intriguing "Wet Summertime Bodies Plays harps Inside Snow Banks" released on Veglia earlier this year."

IDM THEFT ABLE
I See Faint Fireflies September Dim
(Imvated; Belgium) CDR $8

Imvated catalog: "An overwhelming bedtime story straight outa Kraagistan. Scott, the good duud behind the MANG DISC label, delivering the good vibes for 78 minutes. one take. flies, wood, a dog, fire and vocals. comes in a multicolor cover with loads of inserts."

JAZZFINGER
Ugly for a Living (Gold Soundz; Norway) CDR $15

Real good primal drone 'n scatter noise from England--harsh, hypnotic, beautiful, dreadful, and all the other moods you crave so much . Released 2005.

JOHN WILKES BOOZE
Five Pillars of Soul Vol. 1: Melvin Van Peebles (Affirmation) CDR EP $16

Original limited-edition CDR release--this material was later reissued as part of a CD on Kill Rock Stars. Numbered edition of 300 in handmade sleeves, with informative insert on Melvin Van Peebles. Indiana avant-garage white boys dare to mess around with the music of Afro-American film giant Melvin Van Peebles, and do a good job of it. Three tracks: "Sweetback's Gonna Make It," "Brer Soul Is on the Street (Talkin' to People)," and "Watch Out!"

JOSHUA JUGBAND 5
Damascus Doldrum (Ramadan; Sweden) CDR $25

Original release in nice handmade cardboard cover. Released in 2003, it was the follow-up to the 2002 Slippy Town debut by Joshua Jugband 5 a.k.a. Jakob Olausson of Landskrona, Sweden. This has three untitled tracks clocking in at just over 30 minutes. The disc is filled with great psych guitar distortion, dirty drone 'n bellow, caveman drums, and unknown tongues. The third track is a doozy within the midst of the dooz: hovering low-end joy slowly waking like a very murkadelic Jeffersilver Airship jam. Cymbal tap-tappin', and dig that rubber-band guitar sustain. Open, the window, ma--I want my head shoveled. Sure feels good. If you dig the Godz, the Screamin' Mee-Mees, Silver Apples, the Twinkeyz, Mike Rep & the Quotas, Hawkwind, Amon Duul I (etc) . . . here's some MORE, but without all the words to get in the way of your wander.
